MENS SENIOR YOUTH - U19s
Our Youth U19s compete every year in the NZ Nationals. Hosted by Napier City Rovers, who have hosted this tournament for more than a decade. Previously competing as Albany United FC since 2004, the combined representation of Albany United FC and Greenhithe have in the last few years competed and entered jointly as North Harbour United.
"Napier City Rovers plays host to the biggest and most prestigious annual Under 19 Youth Tournament in New Zealand. Some of New Zealand’s top young football stars have descended on Park Island for more than three decades to compete for the top youth prize.
Every Labour weekend sees more than 130 games of exciting football being played at arguably the best footballing venue in the country. Some of the biggest clubs from all over New Zealand compete for the trophy.
Over the years many young players have played in the tournament and went on to gain international status."
This is a great mark of our youth development and prestige tournament to be involved in. For both our girls and boys, this embraces the pathway to our senior teams and a measurement of both clubs commitment to having and providing for our own, and our community.
